Rosbank says tests purchase of gold-based e-fincl asset with e-ruble

MOSCOW, Feb 8 (PRIME) -- Russia’s Rosbank and tokenization platform Atomyze have successfully tested the purchase of a gold-based digital financial asset with digital rubles via blockchain, the first such deal in the country, the bank said on Wednesday in a statement.

“Rosbank has demonstrated Russia’s first deal of exchanging ‘digital gold’ with the use of digital rubles. It included a swap of tokenized gold between two parties with the use of the innovative technology of distributed registers, which ensures security and flawlessness of the process. The project was implemented together with platform Atomyze,” the bank said.

The bank also said that to become an investor or an issuer on the platform of digital financial assets, the user should pass registration available in the mobile application and on the website.
